As the students identify problems , plan the process , collect relevant data, formulate hypothesis and conclusion, it is expected that these pursuits will develop qualities such as observational skills and concentration of mind.
The primary grades are often considered the most important years of a child’s school career. In grades K-6, students require content knowledge that they will use as the foundation for the rest of their education.
This is designed to integrate reading, listening’ speaking, and writing. Great emphasis will be spent on reading. Reading helps students to develop all other related skills. Language will be promoted as an important tool.
Computer studies will be one of the core subject areas taught throughout the school from Grade 1 through Grade 6. We have a specially designed computer program of studies which will commence formally in Grade one.
The Arts represent an outlet of expression. It is a physical manifestation of the internal creative impulse. Sufficient data exists to support the belief that the study of the arts is integral to our society and is the key component in improving learning.
Practical life are exercises that the child can learn how to do living activities in a purposeful way. Children are naturally interested in activities they have witnessed. These exercises help the child develop control in the coordination of movement.
Physical Education is distinguished from other curricular areas by its primary focus on the body and on physical experience and is an integral part of the educational process, without which the education of the child is incomplete.
In one of these approaches education is believed to be situated in the social studies programme which is intended to teach children social issues and concerns, skills development, education of values and attitudes, and social participation.
